Our work for infrastructure clients including Transport for London and Abellio blends technology, ingenuity and intuition. It’s in these projects – creating ticketing areas in busy international stations, waiting and retail areas on platforms and concourses – that we get to combine our real expertise. Not only do we employ the best possible materials engineering, and technology to manufacture a solution, but we use deep knowledge and insight to shape and guide the user experience. That way, we blend function with form, and most importantly, feeling.

Abellio Ticketing Machines at Liverpool Street Station

Liverpool Street Station, London, is a very busy place, with over 30 million passengers crossing the concourse each year. A recently installed row of ticketing machines was underused, so the client – Abellio – tasked us with increasing visibility and presence for the machines, and guiding customers to them.

TFL’s Hub at London St Pancras International

TFL’s hub at London St Pancras International is often the starting point for visitors to the city – around 16 million enter the station each year. A space that has to combine face-to-face service, information provision and ticket sales, this hub might have to cater to the needs of several thousand each day. Our brief was not just about creating a versatile space but one that could cope with huge footfall.
